Similar to the technique of editing a digital photograph, Fraxel Laser Treatment works on thousands of areas of skin that are so tiny, they are invisible to the naked eye. Each microscopic treatment area remains surrounded by living tissue that is affected by the laser in a special way. Approximately 20 to 25 percent of total skin area is treated and destroyed in each treatment.
